More than 50 golfers helped raise $5200 for Aberlea Timboon at the annual Peterborough Golf Day last month.
Aberlea Timboon advisory committee chair Martin Van de Wouw, who is also a board member of Aberlea Inc., said the Ambrose event was played in great spirit.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to the community for its wonderful support. It was yet another example of the community coming together to support our organisation,” he said.
“We once again enjoyed tremendous support from small businesses who donated prizes and services to help make the day such a success.
“All the money raised goes towards the overall development of Aberlea Timboon and none of it would have been possible without the Peterborough Golf Club who are big supporters.
“This is our biggest fundraiser, so this success was a big outcome for Aberlea Timboon.”
The day concluded with a BBQ lunch, presentations and the draw of the raffle.
Winners of the Ambrose were Bob Case, Bill Couch, Chris Huffadine and Chris Smith.
