COVID-19 update | 3 February 2022

Dear Aberlea Family,

We have today been made aware of an administration staff member who tested has tested positive to COVID-19.  Unfortunately they worked with us during their infectious period.  Fortunately the staff member had no direct contact with residents.  As such we have been advised by the Victorian Public Health Unit to enact the following steps;

All staff and visitors will be required to wear N95 masks until further notice and;

Our administration office will be temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday provided there has been no transmission.

All administration staff will be available and working from home and can be contacted on the below numbers as and when required;

Importantly at this stage there are NO implications for our residents.  We will continue to monitor them along with our staff as we have done throughout.

Once again I thank you all for your patience, assistance and diligence.  These are certainly challenging times in our industry.  However, with all of your ongoing support I am certain we are in the best position possible to deal with Covid-19 challenges as they present.
