Aberlea Mortlake COVID-19 Test Results

7 January 2022

Dear Aberlea Community,

I write to follow up on the evolving COVID situation at Aberlea. It is with much relief that I can report that all residents and staff have today returned NEGATIVE rapid antigen tests (RAT). In consultation with the Department of Health we have now been advised that we can reopen our facility to the public and most importantly, internally, our residents can return to normality.

Bookings will be required for all visitations. To arrange a visit please contact Debi on 0475 055 394 during business hours 9am – 5pm. You will continue to be COVID screened upon arrival at Aberlea and proof of vaccinations are also required.

We ask that you are mindful that if you have been in contact with someone with Positive COVID, that you contact Aberlea as you will not be able to attend Aberlea until you have had a negative Rapid Antigen Test.

I thank you all for your patience and understanding. The fact that the lock down was able to be managed in such a short timeframe is a great sign of our preparedness to manage these situations moving forward. As discussed at this morning’s online forum which I hosted, it also gives us the opportunity to test our resources internally and we will be able to make further improvements

Kind Regards,

David Knight
Chief Executive Officer
Aberlea Inc.
