Dear Aberlea community,
I am writing to provide you all with an update on the COVID-19 situation at Aberlea.
We currently have 13 residents and 7 staff members with COVID-19.
All residents continue to display very minor symptoms and are doing very well.
However, we have had a number of new cases in The Mews, therefore we have had to put in further precautions. These include the requirement that all Mews staff wear full PPE. The Mews door remains closed to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
On a good note, 10 of the COVID positive residents will be able to exit isolation on Monday July 25th . All affected residents’ families are being provided with daily updates.
We remind everyone that visitation is by prior arrangement. Please ring Deb on 0475 055394 to book your visits.
