Aberlea Inc operates a 40 bed residential aged care service in Mortlake Victoria.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Registered Nurse/Care Coordinator to join our team.
This position is a senior care and clinical role which requires an applicant with a strong track record and commitment to care.
As an RN with Aberlea Mortlake, you will:
- Provide leadership in the coordination of care to ensure optimal resident health outcomes
- Work closely with residents and their families/carers to facilitate consumer care
- Establish and maintain positive collegiate relationships with medical and allied health providers who are affiliated with our service.
- be a professional role model for the broader Aberlea team.
Required Skills and experience:
- AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
- Aged care experience a strong background in dementia care
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Ability to work autonomously while being an effective team member
- IT skills relevant to the delivery of residential aged care services
